and what should I find….
I’ve never been one to google your own name and see what comes up, however to google other practitioners that you have come into contact with is another matter. Googling your tutors at university is also an interesting experience and can completely confirm or destroy your initial impressions of them! This post is not about how tutor’s practice relates to your own but the pleasant shock of finding, online, your own work where you least expect it.
I had forgotten that a few months ago I was asked to construct a piece of work combining several of my colleagues work for a project that we carried out and exhibited in St Boltophs Church, Aldgate, London. Yet as I was procrastinating on the internet, what should I find but the piece I comprised and another place that my Little Boxes collection has been publicised!
In this collection of work ( link below) you will find an exciting array of jewellery and objects from fantastic graduate makers. Emily Maw and Annabelle Lucilla Hastings have their own blogs which you can find links for in my Blog Roll, certainly worth a few minutes of anyones time to look through.
A fabulous little find and certainly a lovely way to start the creative day!!!
Check out the jewellery and object project but also the other projects ranging from architecture to fashion!
